Evidence Finder · Established evidence

Find the evidence that answers the appraisal question.

Search by medicine, trial name, registration identifier or appraisal reference to locate the evidence behind agency assessments.

Examine the population, comparator and endpoint used, and follow recorded findings to their source pages. Investigate a specific decision question while keeping established findings and unresolved evidence distinct.

Start with a specific appraisal question

Search by medicine, trial name (for example KEYNOTE-189), registration identifier (for example NCT02578153) or appraisal reference. Locate the recorded evidence relevant to the question rather than treating a broad search result as an answer.

Inspect what the agency assessed

Examine the population, comparator and endpoint, then follow the finding to its source page. Check whether the evidence addresses your decision problem before carrying it into an evidence strategy or payer discussion.

Separate an answer from an evidence gap

A recorded finding may answer only part of the question. "No result" is kept distinct from "could not be read", and neither is treated as evidence that something does not exist.

Continue from evidence to appraisal reasoning

Use HTA Library to examine how an agency interpreted the evidence and reached its recommendation. Evidence Finder supports the narrower task of locating and scrutinising the evidence behind that assessment.
