Established
Supported within its scope.
Sourced, matched to the right medicine and assessed population, approved and inside its review date. Only these findings inform a conclusion - and established does not mean universally applicable.

Synapptiq Governance
Before a finding reaches a payer discussion or executive report, its source, assessed population and limitations must hold up. Synapptiq separates established findings from unresolved questions and scenario estimates - and declines the questions its evidence cannot support.
See how evidence is reviewed01 / The principle
A persuasive sentence is not evidence. In pharmaceutical access, a confident answer built on the wrong population, an outdated price or an unsourced figure is worse than no answer at all.
Synapptiq's proprietary intelligence and governance systems sit between the technology and every finding you see. Technology may draft, capture and compare. It does not decide what is established.
Every finding must earn its place against a recorded source within its stated scope. What cannot be established is held in plain sight - never smoothed over - and scenario estimates stay separately labelled.
02 / Three evidence states
Established
Sourced, matched to the right medicine and assessed population, approved and inside its review date. Only these findings inform a conclusion - and established does not mean universally applicable.
Held
Incomplete, unmatched or awaiting review. It stays visible as an open question, with its limitation stated, and outside every established conclusion.
Refused
Unsourced, contradicted or outside the assessed scope. It is declined rather than answered with an unsupported statement.
03 / How evidence is checked
01
A finding needs a recorded source and publication date so its basis can be examined. A statement that cannot point back to where it came from has no standing.
02
Medicine, indication, population and comparator are fixed before a figure is used. A number from a different population is treated as a different claim, not a close enough one.
03
Language technology helps capture and compare published information; it never has the last word. Values are checked against their source and assessed population before they are accepted, and generated wording is not evidence.
04
Each claim is given one state - established, held or refused. Conflicting sources are recorded for review, not averaged into a conclusion.
05
If a figure cannot be established, the answer says so. A gap stays visible rather than being filled with an estimate, and a missing month is never shown as zero.
06
Each finding carries a review date. When it passes, the finding is withdrawn from this website until it is checked again.
04 / Restraint in practice
Source, medicine and population, finding, review and output - traced through a historical NICE TA393 finding. A held item can be inspected too, but it is never presented as a conclusion.

Historical appraisal example
NICE TA393 committee papers (Synapptiq endpoint record, citation verified)
A historical appraisal example, not a live processing record or current treatment advice.
The unresolved finding stays outside established conclusions; its recorded limitation explains why.
05 / Data governance
Restraint is not only about what Synapptiq says. It governs who can see what, and what Synapptiq holds in the first place.
This public website introduces Synapptiq. Customer use of the application is separate from sending a request through this site.
Customers use Synapptiq through authenticated accounts, and what each person can see or change is set by their role.
NHS analysis uses published, aggregate sources. No patient-level NHS data is held.
Executive reports and NHS analysis exports keep their source references, so the evidence travels with the conclusion.

06 / Straight answers
No. Technology may draft, capture and compare information, but whether a finding is supported is decided by its recorded source, its scope, the evidence checks and human review - not by how confident generated wording sounds.
The finding is held. It stays visible as an open question with its limitation recorded, outside established conclusions until the gap is resolved. A question the evidence cannot support is refused.
No. Regulatory, access and launch scenario estimates combine recorded precedent with stated assumptions. Their uncertainty stays visible, and they are not forecasts or established findings.
No. NICE TA393 is a historical appraisal used to show how evidence is reviewed. Its review date controls whether it can appear here at all.
No. We describe only the controls in place in the application. No external certification, regulatory endorsement or independent audit is claimed.
