Market access and HEOR

Prepare the evidence for your next payer discussion.

Examine how comparable medicines were assessed, where uncertainty remains and which published NHS patterns deserve further investigation. Keep the assessed population, comparator and conditions of use attached to the findings you take into the discussion.

Understand the medicine and its precedent

Medicine Workspace connects a single medicine's regulatory history, HTA position, clinical and safety evidence, and economics. Use it to prepare a connected review before your next payer or access discussion.

HTA Library brings together appraisal precedent across HTA bodies. Compare how each assessed the population, comparator, clinical benefit and economic case, including conditions of use and unresolved uncertainty. A finding for one population is not a medicine-wide conclusion.

Answer the specific appraisal question

Evidence Finder locates the evidence behind agency assessments by medicine, trial name, registration identifier or appraisal reference. Examine the population, comparator, endpoint and source page before using a finding in your evidence strategy.

Executive Briefs turns that review into a structured, source-linked executive report for colleagues in the decision room, in PDF, Word or HTML with optional customer branding.

Add published NHS context

NHS Analytics shows where published community prescribing and hospital medicines activity is recorded, and how much activity and cost the sources report, from national to local organisations. Use items, cost and reimbursement reference prices from the Drug Tariff to inform account planning and access discussions.

Community and hospital measures remain separate. Indicative hospital cost is not actual net expenditure because confidential discounts and rebates are not represented. The Governance page explains how findings are checked.

Questions your team can investigate

  • Review medicine evidence and access

"What does the published evidence support for this medicine?"

  • Examine appraisal precedent and access timing

"How did NICE and SMC judge comparable economic cases?"

  • Prepare a source-linked executive report

"Which findings and limits should colleagues see before deciding?"
